Clover Lamp

This project explores the intricate geometry and repetition found in a clover flower, translating its organic structure into a three-dimensional light fixture. By analyzing the natural patterns and forms of the specimen, the design process transforms botanical inspiration into an illuminated sculptural piece, capturing the delicate yet structured essence of the clover.

Shadow Models

Using the flower, I examined the intricacies to create shadow models

3D Build

The concept takes note of the stacked tiers of flowers seen on a mature plant as well as the spiral growth pattern of the plant

Iterations

Three iterative builds allowed thorough experimentation with the final materials and mechanics

The armature allows light to diffuse onto the white acrylic plates
